John Sedlak Joins BlueKai Management Team as Senior Vice President of Global Sales

SEATTLE (November 5, 2009) BlueKai, the online industry's first intent-focused, auction-based data exchange and online marketing's largest source of user intent data, today announced that John Sedlak has joined BlueKai as Senior Vice President of Global Sales, a newly created position based in New York City.

Mr. Sedlak, who joins BlueKai from Vibrant Media, will be responsible for driving global sales strategy for BlueKai's agencies and marketers business, reporting to Grant Ries, BlueKai's Chief Revenue Officer.

"John has two decades of client solutions driven marketing and extensive sales management and strategy expertise in online media," says Mr. Ries. "We are pleased to have someone with his depth of experience join BlueKai as we continue our extraordinary growth. We already aggregate anonymous intent data on over 145 million unique shoppers, representative of 64% of the total US online population. We're thrilled to establish a significant foothold in New York, the nation's advertising capital, with John at the helm."

Mr. Sedlak has been Senior Vice President of Sales and Strategic Alliances at Vibrant Media since January, 2008. Before joining Vibrant Media, he held several senior sales management and business development positions at Time Warner and AOL from 1999 to 2008 including Regional VP of Eastern Region Sales at AOL Media Networks and SVP of Sales for Time Warner Global Marketing. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sedlak held sales posts at Dow Jones & Company/The Wall Street Journal and worked in Media Planning at Ammirati & Puris.

A graduate of Rutgers University, Mr. Sedlak and his family reside in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ.
